“Sarah was wonderful to work with. She answered all questions right away and came to work with a group of nineteen 3rd grade girls. She instructed the girls and showed her amazing talent. About the Instructor

I love to teach and it shows

“Patient, kind, loving, understanding, talented…so many adjectives to describe Sarah. She came into an environment of “challenging” children and created an atmosphere of acceptance and joy. She was perfect!”-Nina Scarpinato, Nurse Practitioner at Virtua, Camden

Sarah Jordan
Sarah Jordan

My name is Sarah Jordan and I’m an artist, painting teacher and paint party host in Asheville, NC. From 2010 to 2015, I taught thousands of kids (and adults!) how to hula hoop dance at Libraries, schools and parties all across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. I also taught the program online long before online classes were the norm.

In 2016, I traded in my hula hoops for paint brushes. I had decided to turn my face painting side gig into my full time business. From there, I expanded into doing all natural henna and face gems for corporate entertainment in Asheville as well.

From Dance Teacher to Face Painter to Art Teacher

“Sarah Jordan was a face painter with my company (Party Artisans) for almost two years. She has been a dependable contractor who never missed a shift. You can count on Sarah to be there on time. Extremely creative, Sarah can paint anything you can imagine. Sarah even painted Beavis and Butthead at the request of a 13-year old boy at a party. Sarah was an asset to Party Artisans. She was always cheerful and willing to assist with any task.” Daniel Peterse, Party Artisans

Plot Twist

My business was booming. You name an event and I was there face painting. I was so busy I needed to hire face painters to help me. And then the pandemic hit.

It took almost a year for me to realize I needed to do what I love most: teaching AND painting.
