Before Chad and I became The Loverfaces, he was embarking on a solo music journey (back in 2019)…and I was a ukulele newbie who happened to have “perfect pitch” according to my biggest cheerleaders.

Sarah Jordan AshevilleI had it in my head that I would someday (like now, in 2020) Chad would deem me ready to play music at his level…he’s been playing guitar and bass for decades.

And so during quarantine sometimes I would play ukulele for 5 hours a day. And it actually happened.The Loverfaces became a reality.

We are so excited to perform in Asheville when quarantine is over! We’ve obviously already played open mics for a few years together…and I cannot wait to get back into it.

I can’t believe it’s been two years since I learned how to play Space Oddity by David Bowie! Consider this a flashback post 🙂

Fun fact: Chad taught me how to play Space Oddity during a road trip to Pennsylvania. We are an indie band located in Asheville, NC.

Most people who know me know that I LOOOOVE David Bowie…and I have loved Bowie ever since I was like 5 years old and saw him in The Labyrinth.
